Teach English in Italy’s most charming places. 10-month contracts starting in September that can be renewed. The schools we work with generally are private language schools that offer career progression opportunities and ongoing professional training, as well as assistance with accommodation. There will be around 25 teaching hours per week. And salaries are in the range of 1200-1400 euro net per month.

The coming academic year is just around the corner, and language schools in Italy are looking for EFL teachers to join their teams.

Evocation EFL works with schools all over Italy. Let us know which parts of Italy you prefer. They are all looking for teachers, so you have a good chance with us. If you hold a driving licence and/or teach the Cambridge exams, it will be a big plus.

You will typically teach General English or Business English to classes of adults and young learners, including in-company classes. There will be around 25 teaching hours per week, leaving plenty of time to enjoy life in Italy.

Salaries are generally in the range 1200-1400 euros net per month, in other words, that is what you actually receive after deductions for tax etc.

Outside the cities, the cost of living is relatively low. The schools will do their best to help you find suitable accommodation and anything else you may need to ensure a smooth transition and a pleasant stay in Italy.

Usually these are 10-month contracts that end in June or July 2019 with the possibility of renewal.

Your spoken English must be of native level standard
You need to hold a CELTA or Trinity TESOL or equivalent
Degree – BA or above
You must be entitled to live and work in the EU
